Project Pitch

While searching on the internet to find horror movie for the evening, I faced a problem – it’s impossible to find useful reviews. It seems that all reviews copy each other and don’t provide any helpful information. There are just boring lists like “Top 10 movies for all horror fans”. The problem is that everyone has his own preferences and not all people like the same types of horror.

My project will address this problem by making reviews more meaningful. I won’t repeat the same titles; I will try to analyze which type of fear each movie and escape room creates. This way people can easily discover horror that fits their style and interests. Also I will rely on detailed guides of horror sub-genres to gain better understanding of this topic. My goal is to make a clear review format and make audience interested at it.

I will be targeting mostly teenagers and young adults, 15-25 years old, having an interest in horrors and emotional entertainment experiences. The core audience consists of extraverted people from Moscow and Dubai. My YouTube channel and WordPress blog will serve as a guide with recommendations that connect to personal taste rather than cliches.

To achieve these goals, I will research horror sub-genres and technologies of frightening and then produce relevant, accessible reviews. Consistent posting and feedback will improve the content quality.

In summary, my content aims on creating useful, interesting, unique and personalized reviews on horror films and horror escape – rooms.  My project helps people explore horror deeply and avoid disappointment by discovering films that will impress and stay in memory.
